Carrie Underwood Heats up the Ice

According to the Ottawa Citizen, former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has snagged herself an ice hottie. Carrie is linked to Canadian-born hockey player Mike Fisher, 28, a 6’1” center for the NHL’s Ottawa Senators. 
The couple met when Mike was at one of Carrie’s concerts back in March 2008, but things only started heating up during the holidays. The couple was spotted hugging and kissing on the jumbotron at the Air Canada Center. She was in a private VIP box along with Mike, his parents and his brother Bud.
Carrie also got to know his family a little better when she spent New Year’s with his sister, getting pedicures and manicures at swanky spa and hair salon, Rinaldo.
“She was here with Mike Fisher’s sister and the staff took good care of them,” Pat Rinaldo told the paper. “She was very quiet, very sweet and pleasant. She wasn’t demanding at all, everyone loved her and a lot of people recognized her.”
