Fantasia Gives Her Voice to Hudson’s Memorial Service

Former American Idol winner Fantasia, gave her beautiful voice for Jennifer Hudson and her family at the memorial service. Hundreds of people were in attendance and several accounts said that the performance was an “emotional crescendo”.
The Chicago Tribune reports Oprah, Missy Elliot, Queen Latifah, and Clive Davis were among the celebrities who came to the private memorial service in Chicago. Fantasia, who beat out Jennifer in season three of American Idol sang “Your Grace and Mercy.”
Jennifer was said to be in tears the entire time, but close family and friends of hers say that the memorial did her more good than anything.
