Beyonce Refuses to Cover Up
Beyonce had to cancel a Nov. 1 concert in Kuala Lumpur after Muslim groups protested. Unfortunately, the concert had to be canceled because the promoter, Pineapple Concerts, failed to secure a license.
However, sources believe that the promoter choose to do this on purpose. This was due to Beyonce’s refusal to cover up her body, since the dress regulations to perform in the country are so strict.
Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage rules state that female performers must show no skin from the tops of their chests to their knees. Therefore, Beyonce will not be performing in Kuala Lumpur.
