Britney’s Album Will be a Big Hit
Well this is news for everyone. Britney media coverage that isn’t negative. She didn’t run anyone over, loose her children again, or shaved her head. This time, she actually did a good job on her new Blackout album.
FOX News reports that Brit’s album, “Blackout,” will actually finish at the top of the album charts in its first week, with about 325,000 units sold. Good news, yes, but not quite as good as her last disc, “In the Zone,” which did 609,000 out of the gate.
Though “Gimme More” has inexplicably been getting pretty good radio play, it’s unclear what single will come next — and whether it can generate any ensuing buzz for the album.
Either way, this is a big step up for the pop tart who’s been getting nothing but negative after negative coverage. Let’s hope this will inspire her to do more good things. But it probably won’t.
