Paparazzi’s Sock Run Over by Britney on Ebay

The paparazzi’s sock that was run over by Britney Spears earlier this month is now being auctioned off on Ebay. TMZ.com put the sock on the Internet auction site and bidding reached $1,025 by Tuesday with the auction set to close on Wednesday.
Just hours after losing visitation rights with her two children, Ms. Spears ran over the photographer’s foot while driving away from a Beverly Hills medical building.
The scene was surrounded with paparazzi, and there was also a video of the footage, although no footage of the actual running over was taken.
The man in question was wearing white socks with sandals and was apparently unhurt and unconcerned. The socks bear Ms. Spears’ tire marks.
TMZ producer Gillian Sheldon confirmed Oct. 19 that the photographer was employed by the Web site. She said there were no plans to file a police report. In a statement released by TMZ, the photographer indicated he wasn’t angry.
All the proceeds from the auction will go to Children’s Defense Fund.
