Drew Carey Set to Host the Price is Right

Comedian Drew Carey is officially the new host for the ever popular show ‘The Price is Right’. Bob Barker’s replacement is said to be very excited to be on the show as well as honored.
Drew Carey did not audition for the role, but instead was picked out by the producers. Carey did an earlier show called ‘ Power of Ten’, and the producers loved his act.
So will Carey be able to fill Barker’s shoes? Well, after being on the show for a whopping 35 years, it will be tough to compete with the guy, but there are always new beginnings and although Carey said he hasn’t even seen the set yet, he is as much excited as he is honored to replace such a great icon.
