After a bitter divorce with her husband of 21 years, Marie Osmond is moving on. She’s put the family home on the market for $1.2 million.
The home, which is a whopping 9,000 plus-square foot mansion consists of six bedrooms and five bathrooms, sitting on a third of acre in Orem, Utah.
Basically, the home holds too many memories for Marie both good and bed and that is why she is putting it up for sale. Marie feels that staying in the home will only slow down the process of moving on.
Marie and her ex-husband Biran Blosil had eight children together and they’ve had many happy memories in the house, until a series of events caught hold of their happiness.
In 2004, Marie’s mother Olive died from complications of a massive stroke. Just one day after Olive’s death, Brian was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor.
On top of that, a fire caused $50,000 worth of damage to the house. With all the pressure, Marie attempted suicide in July of 2006.

Gee, what happened to all of that Mormon faith to pull you through the bad times Marie?
Hi people
As a fresh celebtrashtalk.com user i just want to say hello to everyone else who uses this site :>
I admire Marie as a human being and not based on any of her religious beliefs. She is afterall only human, as we all are and I think after all that she has gone through, the losses she has suffered and the storms that almost pulled her under she is an unbelievable woman and she sets a good example of strength and determination to have come out of her storms standing stronger and better than before.
Many have gone through less in life and have committed suicide and I know that many of us have had those same thoughts cross our minds at some point in our lives…..but she’s still standing isn’t she and I am happy she is. She is truly inspiring to me as a fellow woman and human being and I believe God has had His wonderful hand in her life all along, and I know she now knows this, that He has never left her. All my best to you Marie!
I have lost 3 of my Brothers in a 5 year period and gone through hurricane Katrina and I am still standing! Let Marie compare with that! And unlike some Celebrities, I haven’t tried to commit suicide once,.
