Eddie Murphy Finally Admits He’s the Father
After months and months of debate, Eddie Murphy has finally stepped up to the plate and admitted that he is indeed the father of former Spice Girl, Melanie B’s young daughter, Angel.
Earlier this week, Melanie filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court, asking to name Eddie Murphy has the father of her daughter, Angel.
A statement was released earlier this week and said the following: “Eddie Murphy always has and will continue to honor his responsibilities as a father. Mr. Murphy and Ms. Brown dated very briefly and never made any plans of ANY sort. He acknowledges paternity of the child Angel, and has paid child support to Ms. Brown as well as covering the expenses of her pregnancy. Mr. Murphy views this as a private matter and as such, will not be making any further comments about it.”
Angel was born on April 3rd, and although DNA tests proved that Murphy was the father just weeks after the birth, he never admitted to it until now.
