World renown opera singer, Luciano Pavarotti dies at the tender age of 71. Born in Rome, Luciano’s father was a singing baker, and he became the king of high C’s.
Luciano died today at the age of 71. He was the world’s biggest and most famous opera singer. Pavarotti had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year, but was treated last month. Unfortunately, the treatment didn’t work and he died in his home in Native Modena at 5 a.m.
His wife, Nicoletta, and four daughters and his sister were among his side at the time of his untimely death. Pavarotti was a great legend all throughout the world, and will be missed greatly not only by his family, but by the millions of fans.
He brought hope to music, and enticed people to listen to opera…he made it his own, and for that we are grateful.
