Nicole Richie Serves 82 Minutes

Nicole Richie serves just 82 minutes of a four-day sentence for driving under the influence of drugs. Ah, the power of celebrities. Richie was released just two hours after checking in to Century Regional Detention Facility.
Because of a federal court mandate, due to the overcrowding of the jails, arrestees that are serving less than 30 days for a non-violent offense are usually released withing 12 hours.
Using those guidelines, Richie was treated the same way as the other inmates. She was also fingerprinted, and got a mug shot as well.
