Simon Cowell Reviews Ryan Seacrest’s Performance
We all know how much Simon Cowell loves to criticize…especially when it’s Ryan Seacrest. The British know-it-all commented on Seacrest’s performance at the 2007 Emmy Awards, giving him a measly two- and-a-half stars.
“There were a few uncomfortable moments,” Cowell told Extra. “We were expecting a two, so I’m going to give him a two-and-a-half. So he did better than expected.”
When asked if either of the judges had spoken to Seacrest after the performance, Cowell said: “No, he’s gone into hiding.”
Since NBC’s Sunday Night Football was on at the same time, the Emmys had its lowest audience ever since 1990. An estimated 13.1 million viewers tuned in, compared to last year’s audience which averaged 16.1 million viewers, a 19 percent decrease.
