Star Jones Falls to the Bottom of the Pit
Star Jones is in trouble- her Court TV show is going right down to the bottom of the pit and she is scrambling to get back up. Sources say that if she doesn’t get her show to improve, she’ll be out of a job.
After just one week on the air, the ratings tumbled down to a stunning 48 percent, but even so, it just might be too late for the star to turn around and get back up on her feet again.
“Star received a notice a few weeks ago that her show is on thin ice, ” revealed a show insider. “Now she’s pulling out all the stops to get A-list celebrities on the show. She’s making a lot of the calls personally instead of asking her producers to do it. She thinks celebrities will be more willing to appear that way.”
Court TV executives want Star to boost the ratings by covering racier and more dangerous topics- something she resisted to do.
“Star needs to make some magic happen, ” said the insider. “If she doesn’t turn this show around soon, I’m sorry to say she’ll be out of work for the second time in two years.”
