MacGyver has captured millions of hearts, as well as taught a few things here and there on the necessities of survival. MacGyver, as played by Richard Dean Anderson, had been a long running show filled with action, adventure, and most of all, some really cool inventions.

MacGyver could make anything out of anything if he was in a dire situation. And that is why most people would actually choose MacGyver over Bond if faced with a dangerous situation.

A new poll from McCormick Tribute Foundation found that 27 percent of Americans said that they’d want MacGyver with them in the event of a disaster. The poll also revealed that MacGyver not only beat Bond, but also Indiana Jones, Jason Bourne, and a slew of other fictional heroes.
